I did a lot of rereading of Shess' scenes in season 3 so far. At some point, Shess was supposed to enter Kalibloom with Ran (this was after Shess ran on water with him). As a cliffhanger, Sagara was hiding behind a tree, saw that Shess was entering Kalibloom, and then walked away into the forest. Right as they were about to enter the gate, Shess said "Something came up. I'll be back quick," and then he disappeared which left Ran all alone. It seems absolutely possible that Shess talked with Sagara right at this moment.

From his talk with Sagara, it seems possible that he might have learned the location of Kaz and Maruna. After all, prior to literally when he was about to enter Kalibloom, Shess was at Ran's city with Ran which I believe is at the other side of the planet. He was crossing the ocean on foot during the time Maruna was failing to coerce Kaz to use the Pledge Token and taken hostage/rescued from Brilith's attack. To me, it feels very possible that Sagara saw the general direction where Maruna flew away with Kaz and told Shess where to go. After all, everyone in Kalibloom and even the earth temple saw that Kasak was back and I believe a nastika would be able to see Maruna fly away from outside the city.

A few chapters later, Shess arrives exactly where Maruna and Kaz are. I didn't see anything particularly suspicious about this conversation, but it should be noted that Shess actually wanted to develop. No matter the degree that Shess may be on Sagara's side, his development would absolutely be in her plan's favor. He decides against it mostly because Shess doesn't want to take away a chance for Maruna to develop since he knows that the Garuda clan is facing extinction now.

After that, Shess, Maruna, and Kaz make their way back to Kalibloom and straight away he told Maruna to wait outside. This might not necessarily be related to the plan though, but outside the city is literally the only place for Sagara to meet Maruna, and unsurprisingly she finds him and they chat. They end up talking about the Pledge Token, Hoti Vishnu making everyone and Akasha forget about Sagara, and more.

To me, it looks to me that Shess is on board with Sagara's plans to some degree.

Side note: Sagara is correct. Unless Akasha was able to remember Sagara despite Hoti Vishnu, Akasha must have forgotten all about Sagara. Maruna met up with Akasha in the Sura realm way before Gandharva was thrown in jail, but Gandharva was only able to remember Sagara after he was caged while talking to Agni. During their conversation, Gandharva was attempting to tell Agni why he attacked Kalibloom in Sura form and why he attacked Mihra's city as well, but he couldn't say Sagara because of Hoti Vishnu. To add to this, Gandharva's mind kept jumping straight to "I hope [both of Leez's aliases] is alive" and "no, I don't want to eat shellfish" when he kept trying to say Sagara.
